HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Officials with the Diocese of Norwich Thursday announced the United States Bankruptcy Court in Hartford has confirmed their Joint Plan of Reorganization.
In part, the Joint Plan establishes a settlement fund of about $31 million, officials said.
The fund was created to provide “equitable compensation to survivors of sexual abuse, acknowledging their profound pain and suffering and offers a path toward healing,” according to officials.
